Crystal Bridges founder and board chair Alice Walton received the inaugural John Cotton Dana Medal for Visionary Leadership in Museums from the Newark Museum, Newark, NJ. The event took place on Saturday, May 9 in the Newark Museum’s galleries and Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden.

The American Institute of Architects presented the 2015 AIA Institute Honor Award for Interior Design to Marlon Blackwell Architects for its design of the Crystal Bridges Museum Store.

Crystal Bridges’ Store was awarded the Museum Store Association’s Product Development Award for its architectural merchandise inspired by the Frank Lloyd Wright house.

Crystal Bridges ground-breaking exhibition State of the Art: Discovering American Art Now (Sept. 13, 2014 – Jan. 19, 2015) was selected as a winner in the 27th Annual American Alliance of Museums’ Excellence in Exhibition Competition.

Crystal Bridges’ Distance Learning Program’s online course Mash Up: American Identity through the Arts received the American Alliance of Museums Gold Award for education and outreach.

Crystal Bridges received a Quality of Life award from the Northwest Arkansas Community College for its achievements in promoting arts/culture in the region.

On October 19, 2015, Americans for the Arts honored Crystal Bridges founder and board chair Alice Walton with the Arts Education Award at the organization’s annual National Arts Awards.
