- 2,046 guests enjoyed 157 volunteer-led Trail Tours.
- Team members made presentations to 12 community groups, with a total audience of 1,360
- Volunteer staff members from the Trails and Grounds team and other departments at Crystal Bridges helped the community plant a total number of 950 trees in Bentonville during the third Annual Tree Planting Blitz.
- Completed the landscape and irrigation for Frank Lloyd Wright’s Bachman-Wilson House in October, 2015
- Launched the first annual Garden Party, an outdoor celebration featuring a native plant and seed sale, artmaking, music, and nature and art talks.
Green Initiative
The Trails and Grounds team continues to reduce use of synthetic fertilizer and herbicide: only 10% of fertilizer use was synthetic in 2015.
Collected 16,000 gallons of clean food scraps for use in compost production.
Produced 60 yards of natural compost fertilizer- sifted 30 yards for turf application.
